Ok.

I just wrote about him, less than a week ago, but I've been so obsessed with Arthur Russell lately. He made such an interesting collection of music. It kind of makes me wish I were living somewhere in Manhattan in the 80s.

Which makes me think. You know how people ask you sometimes "if you could be from any decade which one would it be?" And usually people think really highly of themselves and say some bullshit like "Oh definitely the 50s, I just love the style." Or "I would definitely be from the 20s, I have very classic sensibilities." Have any of you assholes thought about how shitty the 20s and 50s were? Anyway, I would most definitely be the 80s. Maybe the late 70s because that's when all the cool motorcycles were made.
